Detroit Deck Rebuild is a commercial deck rebuilding contractor serving metro Detroit. The focus comes from the territory. Metro Detroit built multifamily housing at enormous scale in the sixties and seventies and attached wood structures to nearly all of it, while the restaurant districts learned to run their whole season outdoors. Both inventories are aging on schedules their owners can either plan for or be surprised by, and the buyers responsible for them, managers, boards, operators, need a contractor who speaks budgets and documentation as fluently as lumber.
Two habits we will not break
First, the prices are published. The cost guide prints the per-square-foot ranges, the per-balcony and per-stair figures, and the line items that move totals, because a manager defending a budget to a board deserves real numbers before the first meeting. Quotes come off that page and invoices match quotes.
Second, inspections start at the ledger. Deck structures fail at their connection to the building and at their guards far more than at their visible surfaces, so that is where our walkdowns begin, with a probe and a camera. A report that only describes deck boards is a description, not an inspection, and we do not write those.
The honest fine print
We pull permits on structural work without exception, we bring engineering in when spans and loads call for it rather than guessing past it, and we put the rebuild versus repair verdict in writing even when the cheaper answer costs us the job.
